What type of plug is used to recharge the headlamp?
The VersaLite™ Headlamp recharges using the included USB-C cord. The time needed to recharge the 1200 mAh lithium battery from a dead to full charge is 3-5 hours.
How long does the headlamp hold a charge?
At the maximum brightness level of 350 lumens, expect 2.5 hours of use. Using the lower brightness setting, your headlamp will stay charged for up to 8 hours. Should you need continuous performance, we suggest you purchase two headlamps and leave one charging to swap out when needed.
Does the headlamp have adjustable brightness?
Yes, the headlamp has two levels of brightness for the wide LED strip and two levels of brightness for the LED spotlight.
How wide is the LED strip light beam, and how far does the light project?
The LED strip provides a wide 230º beam, giving you ample light in front of and to either side of you. The LED strip beam can light your path up to 600 feet in front of you.
How do I activate the hands-free feature?
First, press and toggle the power switch to select the desired beam (hi or low broad beam, hi or low narrow beam). The red power indicator will appear. Next, press the sensor switch (right beside the power switch). The indicator light will change to green on the left side. Now pass your hand across the 2 sensors (within 6 inches) and the light will alternate between on and off without having to touch anything. Sweet!
Can I use the headlamp in the rain?
Our headlamp has an IPX4 rating, which means it is splash-proof and can be used in light rain or during workouts. However, it's not suitable for submersion in water.
